About The Program:


RIMS California Arts Project proposes to provide the following:Two days of professional learning to support the arts teachers at Grand Terrace High School in designing units, lessons and implementation of the new CA Arts Standards in Music (Band and Choir), Theatre, and Visual Arts.  Theatre: Developing lessons with the new CA Theatre standardsVisual Arts: Facilitated discussions on how to translate the new CA Visual Arts standards and ways to address them in supporting student learningChoral Music: Lesson design with the new CA Music standards for Choir and Music HistoryInstrumental Music: Implementation of the new CA Music standards in Marching Band and Concert Band
