Berkeley World Language ProjectKeys to the Communicative Classroom - Strand T: Supporting Communication with TechnologyJanuary 25, February 29 and March 21, 2020Do you want to...- Explore diverse tech tools and apps that will aid in classroom management and make learning a language both fun and engaging.- Connect with other world language teachers and build your professional learning community- both in person and online.- Create student driven lessons, incorporating tech tools and apps that increase student engagement, productivity, communication and creativity.- Beginners are encouraged and welcomed to attend.- Everyone will need to bring their own laptop.You will do all this and more in our 3 day Professional Development series as you learn and practice new techniques! You will leave with ideas, materials, and the confidence to use them on Monday morning. Plus you will have the opportunity to network with colleagues.All World Language, EL , Dual Immersion and Heritage Language teachers are welcome.Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Participants will make their own arrangements for lunch.)Location: Berkeley Language Center, Dwinelle Hall, University of California, Berkeley.Applications: Due January 18, 2020
