RIMS CAP: Developing Artistic Literacy: Painting & Aesthetic Theories for Pomona Unified School District

About The Program:

Painting and Deepening Art Criticism is the second level of TCAP’s Artistic Literacy Programs design to build upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the first level.  Participants will continue to develop artistic literacy through the addition of painting techniques, deepening of color theory, deepening of aesthetics through art criticism and studio exercises focusing on painting and drawing.  Each participant will develop and implement a unit that is visual arts standards-based, aligned with CA Literacy and English Language Development standards.
