About The Program:


The SDAWP will provide 10 hours of professional development for up to 25 9-12 classroom teachers with the goal of developing instructional approaches for improving student writing and academic achievement by building a writing community, utilizing mentor texts, and implementing an inquiry approach to writing. Strategies for ELL students will be addressed.
