This 40-hour program directly supports CSMP Goals I, II and it’s dedicated to serving Bilingual/Immersion/English Language Development teachers within our service area. This program supports Dual Immersion and Bilingual Educators teaching in the 21 st Century Language K-6 classroom. Its focus will be on providing advanced learning of bilingual education with multiple resources, comparing/contrasting ELA Common Core Standards in Spanish and English, analyzing language skills and their levels of transferability, and experiencing cooperative and engaging learning strategies, including SLD/ELD.Program will be offered the following dates and sites:California State University, Fresno: 9/22/18, 10/13/18, 12/1/18, 2/23/19, 3/30/19 Facilitators:Josie Bustos & Rogelio HernandezHanford SD & Fresno USD
