This 40-hour program directly supports CSMP Goals I and II and it’s dedicated to serving teachers of Hmong heritage speakers to identify and successfully utilize instructional strategies that promote higher levels of literacy for Hmong heritage speakers and English Learners. Participants will have multiple opportunities to research different methodologies and assessment tools, to develop, refine, and/or enhance their current instructional practices, lessons/units, and other authentic resources aligning them with the State and National Standards.Program will be offered the following dates and sites:California State University, Fresno: 9/22/18, 10/13/18, 12/1/18, 2/23/19, 3/30/19 Facilitators:Dr. Vicky Xiong-Lor & Doua VuCSU Fresno & Fresno USD
