Program Registration

This program is open to all interested teachers.
There are no restictions on registration.

The workshop is free. If you are interested in the two units, it will be $100. Registration for credit will be done the first day of class. Students may bring a check made out to CSUDH or a credit card.

About The Program:


  • Learn how to use primary sources to thoughtfully include multiple perspectives in the elementary classroom
  • Expert teacher leaders will demonstrate inquiry-based lessons and activities designed to develop knowledge and skills in history-social science as well as language and literacy aligned to the new History-Social Science Framework.
  • Participants will explore the amazing collection of resources of the Library of Congress and learn how to use primary sources in the classroom to develop knowledge and skills.
