About The Program:


The Common Core calls for students to develop literacy in all content areas. This program develops teachers\\' visual arts literacy and drawing skills aligned with the CA Common Core Content Literacy Standards and CA Visual Arts Content Standards. Teachers also discover the connections and support visual arts provides for all students especially English Language Learners. Teachers create a visual arts teaching unit for their classroom and share their outcomes.
