About The Program:


The History Project at Dominguez Hills in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Office of Education, The Southern California Social Science Association, and the Arsylan Foundation are proud to present a one-day history-social science conference for TK-12 teachers. Learn from local teacher leaders of the 2016 Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute, California History Social-Science Project, Constitutional Rights Foundation, the Southern California Social Science Association, Arsalyn Foundation, and many others. Choose your own session and acquire lesson plans and projects for grades K-12. Many sessions will focus on strategies for implementing the FAIR Act and the newly adopted California History-Social Science Framework as well as utilizing artifacts, primary sources, narrative and informational text.
