About The Program:


A 40-hour program is targeted for teachers of Levels III and IV, as well as teachers of Spanish Heritage/Native Speakers and Advanced Placement courses of study, to share and establish learning outcomes that draw on heritage learners’ foundational strengths. Focus is placed on identifying assessment tools to diagnose and measure students’ level of proficiency, developing learners’ range of oral and written expression, increasing academic language and literacy skills, and articulating the content and instructional strategies to the Advanced Placement World Language Themes and the World Language Content Standards
