Global Voices: Digital Storytelling Through Photography

About The Program:


This workshop guides K-12 educators through the study of digital storytelling and skill development using photography and videography.Teachers will learn how to use digital storytelling resources to engage students in project based learning (PBL). This workshop align global competencies to standards-based instruction. This program is free for teachers, and sponsored by the California International Studies Project (CISP) at Sonoma State University and Global Oneness Project.


Activities (2)

Global Voices Day 1

Teachers from TK-12th grade learned about Global Comptence teaching in the 21st century. They were introduced to the Global Oneness Project and learned the benefits of storytelling through the meaning and message. Cleary Baugh-Lee was the guest speaker who also presented the Time Capsule Project where she showed personal artifacts that served as stories and items to connect people.
