Bio: Ray Ingersoll is the faculty advisor for the CSP network. Previously, he was the faculty advisor and member of the leadership team of the UCLA Science Project. He has been a professor of geology at UCLA since 1984 where he teaches several field course for both graduate and undergraduate students. Ingersoll is a prolific researcher and has written and presented papers in sedimentary geology for the past 30 years. He is committed to improving K-12 science education and most recently has collaborated on an NSF grant with a high school geology teacher to develop and implement an AP geology course.
