Bio: Susan Wilkinson has served as Executive Director of the California Physical Education-Health Project since 2005. Susan also served as the Bay Area Physical Education-Health Site Director from 1996-2006. Prior to her appointments with CPE-HP, she taught physical education and health education in public schools. She has also taught physical education teacher education at several universities. She was appointed by Jack O’Connell as a member of both the California Physical Education Content Standards and California Physical Education Framework writing committees. Susan holds a BS in Physical Education and Health, an MS in Exercise Science, and a PhD in Physical Education Teacher Education. She is currently on the faculty at San Jose State University as a Professor of Kinesiology.
