Bio: In his early career, Ron combined teaching in California schools, a teacher professional development assignment in Philippine schools, graduate study in international development education, university administration in international studies, and management of a national alliance of organizations focused on strengthening teaching and learning in world affairs. His international studies work in schools and universities was joined through the legislative enactment of the California International Studies Project, which Ron has directed since 1985. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics, anthropology, school administration, and international education.
