Bio: Kate is a sixth grade teacher with the Davis Joint Unified School District, currently on leave as a Visiting Educator with the California History-Social Science Project. Kate has been involved with the History Project at UC Davis since 1991 and has served as a grade level coach for 5th and 6th grade teachers, Saturday Seminar Coordinator, and Marchand Room Librarian. Kate holds a BA in History from UC Davis, a Ryan Clear Multiple Subject Credential, a Single Subject Credential in Social Science (both from Mills College), and is a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent Social Science.
