Sites of the California Arts Project now offer Professional Development Program Series to schools and districts in their regions. Each series consists of several sessions conducted at contracting schools or districtsover the course of a school year by TCAP members. While these series have coherent and consistent content throughout the state, each will be tailored to meet the particular needs of the contracting school or district.

All series are presented at an adult level using a "teachers teaching teachers" model that engages participants directly in all four arts disciplines. Participants have time to adapt ideas to their own classrooms and to share results and receive feedback at subsequent sessions. Participants are also given time and assistance in developing their own plans to continue building the arts program at their school.

Series are offered on a fee-recovery basis. The cost covers a full year's worth of ongoing staff development.
