CERTIFICATE AREAS
For 2000-2001, certificates will be awarded
based on the subject matter taught and the grade level of the students.
The following portfolios can be ordered for the 2000-2001 assessment
period:
Additionally, the following certificate
is currently under development and plans call for it to be available
by December 1, 2000:
- Early and Middle Childhood/Art
During the 2000-2001 assessment cycle,
portfolios in the areas listed below will be available to teachers
whose language of instruction is Spanish. Teachers of Spanish
speaking students may seek National Board Certification in one of
these fields and submit student work samples and videotapes that
include instruction in Spanish.
