Resources ARTS EDUCATION ONLINE (AEOL) ADVOCACY AND REFORM
Here are a number of agencies, institutions, and organizations which assist California educators in promoting educational excellence. Although most of them are not directly arts-related agencies, they nonetheless provide essential services in the cause of arts education. Internet Resources for California Educators
The California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) is a program funded through the California Department of Education and is governed by the Education Council for Technology in Learning. CTAP is a new statewide educational technology leadership initiative, designed to provide assistance to schools and districts in integrating technology into teaching and learning. CTAP is governed by a state coordinating council, with representatives from all 11 regions in the state of California. All the regions provide support to schools applying for SB1510 school-based grants and work with funded sites in implementing and evaluating their projects. The mission of the California Instructional Technology Clearinghouse is to recommend to California educators the highest quality instructional technology resources which support California's public school reform initiatives, curriculum frameworks and performance standards.
