The San Gabriel Valley California Mathematics Project (SGV CaMP) is Directed by Dr. Greisy Winicki-Landman. Together with other faculty members from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Cal Poly Pomona, and K-12 teacher leaders, our site leadership team works to “Design programs that meet the unique mathematics needs of schools, teachers, teacher aides, administrators, students, and parents.” Maintaining a balance between mathematics content and pedagogical strategies for the teaching of mathematics, the professional development opportunities we provide aim at building a community of teachers in our area who are interested in improving their teaching and understanding of mathematics.
