BAMP is one of 19 California Mathematics Project sites. Since 1983, BAMP has provided a wide variety of professional growth opportunities.

Current services include:

  • Summer mathematics institutes for teachers and teacher leaders (usually 5-8 days long)
  • School based full or half-day workshops that include the latest information on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics (including related assessments), brain research, and strategies for engaging students in their learning.
  • Consultation with school and district administrators regarding their mathematics programs

An important benefit of our institutes and workshops is networking opportunities with local teachers and math education leaders.
