Cal State Northridge Writing Project
The Cal State Northridge Writing Project is a professional learning community where professionals from a wide diversity of backgrounds and teaching assignments work collaboratively to share resources, analyze research, and improve pedagogical practice.
We join other UC and CSU sites to become the seventeenth site in the California writing Project network. Our Teacher consultants work with teachers, schools, and local districts to improve student writing and learning.
In addition to our annual Invitational summer Institute, we hold a two week Young Writer's Camp in early August and a Write to Literacy Conference in October, numerous Saturday Seminars in both the fall and spring semesters, and a four-session ISAW (Improving Student Academic writing) workshop throughout each academic year.
