  • CRLP focuses on student achievement and grounds all professional development activities in student work and student outcomes in order to inform teacher practice and assess teacher leadership.
  • CRLP believes in the centrality of "doing" the discipline and in the importance of providing teachers with an opportunity to engage in, and learn from, the practice of the discipline through both teaching and learning.
  • CRLP program designs reflect a dedication to the development and promotion of teacher leadership in many forms and many arenas.  The teachers-teaching-teachers model is a flexible one.  It works well in school and district partnerships where customized venues may be the best vehicle for reaching into classrooms and accommodating diverse needs.
