The central mission of the California Foreign Language Project (CFLP) is to sponsor professional development programs aligned with the state-adopted foreign language standards and framework in order to deepen teachers’ content knowledge, strengthen and expand language programs, and prepare participants to effectively use and teach language and cultural content at every level of California’s educational system.
