At the heart of CPE-HP, distinguished teacher leaders deliver cutting edge standards-based programs. CPE-HP supports a growing network of statewide leaders. Using a “teachers-teaching-teachers” model, CPE-HP offers programs that impact the way professionals think about and approach their work with students. Using a constructivist approach, teachers learn by doing, examine current health and physical education issues, and engage in meaningful dialogue with experts to improve practice, so that students are given the best opportunity to learn how to live an active healthy life.
