Who We Are

Who We Are

The CFLP, located in the Stanford University School of Education, sponsors seven sites and is one of the California Subject Matter Project (CSMP) disciplines that comprise a statewide professional development network of the nine subjects required for graduation from high schools and admission to California universities.  The current seven regional sites offer year-round professional development programs for teachers intended to strengthen the teaching of languages and cultures in California.  Each of these sites is staffed by a director who collaborates with a team of teacher leaders and a faculty advisor from the hosting campus.
