Program: Project LEAD Saturday Seminar, Year 2
A Mathematics Leadership Project and California Mathematics & Science Partnership Grant focused on third grade to Algebra I. Project LEAD is a three-year research project funded by a California Mathematics & Science Partnership Grant. The district Partners for this grant are Bellevue Union School District, Healdsburg Unified School District, Petaluma City Schools, Santa Rosa City School District. Membership involves: A one-week summer institute (30) hours focused on CA Mathematics Content Standards and Framework; Five (5) Saturday seminars (30 hours w/reading) focused on mathematics content, instruction, and leadership; and Lesson Study (30 hours) focused on group planning and teaching of mathematics lessons, and a Share Case (6 hours) where group presentations of lesson study to other Project Lead participants.
