Program: Institute at Occidental College: Standards-Based Unit Design, Preparing Students for the AP Examination in Spanish Literature
The content of the institute is as follows: a) introduction to the content and format of the examination; b) exploration of the major historical periods and literary movements in Spain and Spanish America; c) strategies for the analysis of poetry, prose and drama; d) study of representative works and authors; e) examination of parallel manifestations in art and music; e) review of content-specific instructional practices that may be used to deliver standards-based academic content.
