This workshop, organized by the California Geographic Alliance with several outside grants, introduced 4th grade teachers to the new CGA California Atlas. It included PowerPoint presentations on geography in general and California geography as well as several lessons utilizing the atlas. Participants received seventeen copies of the atlas for use in their classrooms.
