SDAWP TCs will work with teachers at this dual language immersion school to deveop a writing academy to help students embrace identity as writers; workshops will focus on two strands - teacher as writer and English language leraners. Topics to include writer's notebook/workshop; descriptive review; use of mentor texts and mechanics of writing.
