Workshop at SJSU: 11-7-09 Super Saturday (Levels 4-8)

"Correcting the Students' writing is Killing Me". Presentation by Maria Smith and Sarah Thistlewaithe.  In this workshop, you will learn how to assess (not grade) writing by analyzing student's strengths, identifying their needs, and planning your next steps for providing appropriate instruction. We will look at student samples and focus on one skill/strategy at a time.  This workshop is for teachers grade levels 4-8.
