Program: Workshop at SJSU: 10-17-09 Super Saturday (Levels 9-12)
"It's Not What you Think it is!" Presentation by Todd Seal and Laurie Wessecker.
In this workshop, Todd and Laurie will deal with the fact that the standards for writing strategies when tested on the CST are NOT actually assessments of a students' writing. They will show what skills are assessed, exactly what the students need, and how to incorporate instruction on those standards into a classroom that actually DOES focus on writing.
This workshop is for teachers of grade levels 9-12.
