Program: Fall Course CaMSP Program at ICOE

The CaMSP Fall program focused on ways to use questioning strategies as a way to understand how students are thinking about the mathematics that we ask them to learn.  Their thinking, then will become our beacons to guide the strategies that we, as teachers, will use to help them gain access to many mathematical concepts.  It is here, in trying to bridge their thinking to mathematical thinking, where our experiences and expertise in mathematics will become indispensable as we search for the most effective teaching strategy to help students learn.  To this end, the program focus was to help learn how to find the core ideas of a give topic to guide our teaching.
