Program: `The Art and Architecture of Greece and Rome`
Dr. Ronald Mellor will lead the group on a tour around the Getty Villa to illustrate key elements of similarity and difference in Greek and Roman art and architecture. He will also discuss the on-going influence of those elements of classical culture and indicate how they reflect political and religious beliefs. The talk and tour will be follwed by a guided discussion of lesson applications.
