Program: Pre K Professsional Development Institute at Salinas City Schools
This event is the first 40 hours of 120 hour PreK CPDI Introductory Institiute
Introduction of early literacy skills apporopriate to prekindergarten classrooms including research and research based practice in the areas of oral langauge development, print awareness, sounds and letters, and comprehension. Trainng in PreKindergarten Guidelines, assessment practice, approapriating instructional time and working as a child development team to address student needs is included in the weeks curriculumn.
