What to Expect
Though the format and specific content can vary, CISP programs have common elements:
•    Participants will develop insight into the connections among peoples, ideas and events, and view global issues from a range of perspectives, using analysis skills and primary source documents.
•    University and K-12 presenters model effective instructional strategies to help students develop academic language skills and analytical ability along with gaining content knowledge.
•    Participants will develop an understanding of the richness and variety of the human community, and learn to “walk in someone else’s shoes.”

What CISP Programming Offers Your Students
•    All students, especially the less able, will gain fuller and more equal access to the core curriculum and instructional resources.
•    Students will develop a greater understanding for the richness and variety of the human community and gain a comparative perspective on their own lives and culture.
