The Bay Area Arts Project provides professional development programs for teachers in the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz area/region. Located in the School of Art and Design at San Jose State University, the Bay Area Arts Project offers research-based programs aligned with the Common Core, English Language Development, California Content Standards for Visual and Performing Arts and Career & Technical Education standards that are designed to improve student understanding of visual, performing and career arts.
