The Southern Counties Arts Project provides professional development programs for teachers in the counties of Imperial, Orange, and San Diego area/region. Located in the School of Music and Dance at San Diego State University, the Southern Counties Arts Project offers research-based programs aligned with the Common Core, English Language Development, California Content Standards for Visual and Performing Arts and Career & Technical Education standards that are designed to improve student understanding of visual, performing and career arts.
