The South Coast Writing Project provides professional development programs for teachers in the Central Coast area/region. Located in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at UC Santa Barbara, the South Coast Writing Project offers research-based programs aligned with the Common Core, English Language Development, and Career & Technical Education standards that are designed to improve students' understanding of writing.
