The San Joaquin Valley Writing Project provides professional development programs for teachers in the Greater Fresno area/region. Located in the Literacy, Early, Bilingual, and Special Education Department at California State University, Fresno, the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project offers research-based programs aligned with the Common Core, English Language Development, and Career & Technical Education standards that are designed to improve students' understanding of writing.
