The Northeast California Arts Project provides professional development programs for teachers in the counties of Butte, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, and Trinity area/region. Located in the Art Department at California State University, Chico, the Northeast California Arts Project offers research-based programs aligned with the Common Core, English Language Development, California Content Standards for Visual and Performing Arts and Career & Technical Education standards that are designed to improve student understanding of visual, performing and career arts.
