Modeling and Designing Resources for CCSS Writing for ELLs: English Learners and the Common Core (K-3)

Activities (1)
English Learners and the Common Core
As we all begin the transition to Common Core, we must keep at the forefront our English Learners since there will be an increased demand on rigor and communication. English Learners will need supportive strategies in order to feel successful as we teach to the CCSS. This workshop aims to guide teachers through the new California ELD standards and expand on teacher strategies to support EL's during writing. Presented by Lorena Lopez, Grant Elementary School, San Jose Unified School District
