Unpacking the Common Core and Relating it to World Language Instruction (Reg 1)

Everyone in the school community is focusing on what the new Common Core State Standards (CCSS) mean for our schools. World Language educators are in a unique position to contribute to our students' success in the new learning environment and assessments. Come learn more as we "unpack" the CCSS so you can be an active advocate for world language education as an effective support for developing the "real world" skills that our students will need in future. You will also have an opportunity to begin aligning your instruction to the CCSS so that you can participate in the collaboration at your school as we transition to the "Common Core". Registration deadline: Friday, September 13, 2013.
