Thematic Unit Design for the World Language Class

Strand B: Thematic Unit Design to Increase Students’ Linguistic and Cultural Proficiency Prerequisite: Strand A or equivalent. Expand on what you learned in Strand A and acquire more proficiency-oriented instructional strategies sure to enliven your instruction. Develop thematic units aligned to the WL Content Standards and the Common Core ELA Standards and designed to meet the needs of diverse learners. Learn techniques for incorporating technology into your lessons, improving the literacy skills of your students and assessing their progress.
