Algebra Institute for Teachers of English Language Learners/English Language Developmnet, Part II
The goal of the Mathematics Institute for teachers of English Language Learners is to provide teachers with second language acquistion methodology while simultaneously assisting English language development by increasing students' mathematical content knowledge through the implementation of ELD strategies, ELD standards - based instruction, content based instruction, and the integration of language learning techniques. The focus of the institute is middle school and high school teachers who teach pre-algebra and algebra content/CPM.
