General Information
MBAMP's core leadership team consists of five people:
Professor Anthony Tromba, faculty advisor
Professor Bruce Cooperstein, faculty advisor and co-director
Judith Montgomery, co-director
Jim Rohan, regional coordinator and teacher-leader
Patricia Valdez, teacher-leader
Professors Anthony Tromba and Bruce Cooperstein are senior faculty members in the UCSC mathematics department. Judith Montgomery is a former high school and elementary school teacher, and has been the co-director of MBAMP since June 1999. Jim Rohan is a middle-school mathematics teacher with 20 years experience teaching grades K-12. Patricia Valdez teaches mathematics at Aptos High School. Judith Montgomery, Jim Rohan, and Patricia Valdez each hold an M.Ed., BA in mathematics, and California Single Subject credentials in Mathematics.
